We're back after an amazing vacation.
There were some tough moments. In the quiet times, it was hard not to remember that we should be home with a three month old baby, not having an adventure.
It didn't start out well, that's for sure. Our pilot called in sick and they couldn't find a replacement. We waited six hours before they cancelled our flight entirely. We then waited in line and made phone calls before finding a flight the next day.
We went home again, snuggled a confused dog, and then went back to the airport the next day.
Zagreb was beautiful, and we had a room right on the main town square.
From there, we snuck over in Slovenia.
And then popped over to Venice. Or, as I now like to call it, Venezia ,because people who try to pronounce cities in the native language are charming, right? Mainly I learned to say "gelato"!
Then back to Croatia and a trip down the amazingly beautiful coast.
And my favorite - the old city of Dubrovnik
Tal drove. I was in charge of map reading and candy eating. I excelled at both.
